Very interesting website to say the least. here is the link to their
online retention product
http://www.bankersonline.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=83&products_id=923

here is their homepage http://www.bankersonline.com/

do a search for "records retention" the results were interesting, but
were not what I considered to be definitive. One individual asked a
question concerning the retention period for personnel files.

Personnel File Records Retention

Question: How long do you have to keep personnel files for the
following: hiring records (job applications, resumes, etc.); basic
employee information (name, address, date of birth, etc.); payroll
records (daily schedules, pay rates, etc.); tax records; employment
actions (hires, seperations, etc.); health, medical, safety data
(medical exams, job realted illness, etc.)?

Answer: Your state bankers association probably offers a record
retention manual. If these items are not covered, look to other
professional organizations, and finally to local counsel.

Yes do check with the state bankers association first. Some states
have specifc retention periods. The records you mention have retention
periods from 90 days to 6 years.

not what I would call a helpful answer
