As an example of database-driven content management, you may want to review this white paper that describes how Oracle Corporation currently manages 22 million documents (7 terabytes) today in a single RDBMS with more than 30,000 users globally accessing the system at least once every 20 days. The average user concurrency on the system on a normal day is 2000+ users.
