Dear Colleagues,

For those who wish to do the hard slog and really look after their drawings
for the long term and possibly FOREVER.

The following documents created by Fred (Frederic J.) Grevin of the New York
City Department of - Environmental Protection - Division of Facilities
Management and Construction may be of interest. Fred's Department requires
contractors to supply drawings in all three formats 1. Digital; 2.
Microfilm; & 3. Hard copy on Archival Paper.

WOW! Do I agree with Fred? Yes I do in the environment that these drawings
are to be used a BIG YES!

City of New York - DEP - Documents for Construction Management
City of New York - DEP - Specification 01335 - Records in Electronic Formats
City of New York - DEP - Specification 01334 - Records in Microfilm Formats
V02
City of New York - DEP - Specification 01333 - Records in Paper Formats V04

I have been unable to locate the documents on the www so maybe Fred is yet
to put them up on the New York City web site.

For anyone interested I have copies in .PDF format with the approval of Fred
to distribute the documents.

Regards, Laurie
