Apologies for cross-postings
You are invited to participate in Outsell, Inc.’s (www.outsellinc.com)
annual Vendor Portfolio Management Benchmark Study, covering industries,
not-for-profit organizations, government agencies, educational and health
care institutions.
The survey will focus on information management functions such as
information centers and libraries; knowledge management; records management;
and competitive intelligence functions and will examine budgets, spending,
vendor/product evaluation and vendor portfolio management.
We ask that only one person from each department or buying unit answer the
survey to avoid duplicate responses from the same organization.
Respondents who complete the survey will be sent a report of study results
and will also be entered into a drawing for five $200 cash prizes for
yourself or a charity of your choice. In addition, respondents will
automatically be sent a short listing of our 2004 vendor/product user
satisfaction “winners” in various content categories.
All responses are confidential. The data will be analyzed and presented in
aggregated form only.

After answering some introductory questions, you may download a PDF version
of the questionnaire. The survey must be completed online.
The survey will close at midnight Pacific time on Thursday November 10,
2005.
