If you mean what is a good resource to check against when reviewing your 
organization's current retention periods and other retention specifications 
- when I worked in Canada I used TAB’s

   Records Retention Statutes & Regulations (Carswell Business)

It was $200 or so with quarterly updates (can't remember how much the 
updates were).
