Assuming this VaporStream actually works (a big assumption), I'm not sure
there really is an issue: "By the time your stream message has been read,
it is already deleted from our servers." Can't be referred back to, the
only "record" resides in the sender's and recipient's memories - sounds like
a phone conversation to me.
This could provide a tool for those with hearing or vocal disabilities who
can't easily use the telephone to have recordless communications.
Of course, from a law enforcement aspect, perhaps there are some issues
pertaining to wire-tapping technologies, but I'm sure they're not
insurmountable. From my point of view, the real problem would be if people
actually believe there is no record, but there really is (kind of like the
potential problem with VOIP).
