Good afternoon Toby,
There are a number of State agencies (some include local agencies as well)
that have their retention schedules available on the web.
These include:
Maine: http://www.state.me.us/sos/arc/recmgmt/localgov/locala.htm
California: http://www.ss.ca.gov/archives/level3_locgovrec.html
Texas: http://www.tsl.state.tx.us/slrm/lgschedules/index.html
Your might also want to look at the list archives link to search for others,
or check out the list compiled by Alan Zaben at
http://infomgmt.homestead.com/ .

Subject: [RM] Comprehensive List of Records Types
Hello RM Gurus,
I am wondering if any of you know where I might find a comprehensive
list of records types that I can use to jumpstart my efforts to update
our Records Management program. In my search thus far, I have found
shorter lists of specific discipline records types and lists of high
level general records types, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a
list that is more comprehensive in scope and detail.
Thanks so much for your assistance and for those of you heading down to
the Lone Star State, Y'all have a real good time.
Toby
