How are you?  I would love to go to lunch or coffee with you sometime.
Thank you for thinking of me for the scanning clerk position.
What a whirlwind the last three months have been.  Let me bring you up to date.
I am working for Nancy, two days a week 9-2 while I finish my last class.
I told her when she called me that I put my name in for the part-time position at the CSU library.
The job was too good to pass up but I did not think that I would probably get it.  She called over to Diane Lunde and told her about my application.  Plus, I used you, Dr. Hansen, and Dr. Mark Fiege as my references.  I know that they contacted Mark and Dr. Hansen.  You will never guess what happened.  I got the job.  I am so excited.
I will start for them on December 1 and graduate on December 15.  My only hope now is that I can finish my work for Nancy.  If I cannot complete it by late November, I hope to work for Nancy one day per week in 2007 until it is completed.
Thank you again for thinking of me.  I would have loved to work for you again.
