Official (grade) title: (4020) Sr Administrative Associate

Exempt/nonexempt: Exempt

Starting annual salary range: $44,080 to $55,100 DOE plus competitive
benefits.

Duties and responsibilities:

Develop and implement organization's records management policies and
procedures.
Ensure adherence to policies and procedures by regular audits and random
checks.
Serve as chief point of contact and resource for PATH records management
needs.
Prepare objectives in accordance with long-range plans and mission
statements of the Knowledge Services team, ISI, and PATH.
Manage organization-wide records retention efforts regardless of type of
media storage. 
Ensure adherence to legal requirement which affect the information of the
organization.
Research alternatives and present recommendations for equipment purchases;
participate in negotiation of vendor contracts and agreements.
Develop, implement, and audit organization's vital records protection,
disaster prevention and recovery efforts.
Utilize expertise to evaluate manual and/or automated records systems and
make recommendations to team leaders and users.
Educate and train users on records management policies and procedures by
presenting to staff at large, meetings with programs or projects, or
providing individual coaching.
Work one-on-one and in groups with support staff to ensure consistent
implementation of policies and procedures in daily activities of projects
and programs.
Work closely with other members of the Knowledge Services team to forward
team's vision, goals, and objectives.
Provide input to team's budget.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years experience in a management position.
Knowledge of records management practices and experience implementing
records management policies and procedures in a nonprofit organization.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization and planning skills.
Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel with tact and
diplomacy.
Effective management skills, including proven ability to lead and motivate
people.
Strong ability to perceive and analyze problems, plan, and develop
alternatives and implement solutions.
Certification in Records Management (CRM) desired.
Experience training others.
