Hello all!
I've a quick question (is there REALLY such a thing?)... We've had a request for an estimate of cost per box to microfilm records. I looked in the listserv archives and found a string from 2000, but would like more recent estimates if I can find it. I do know that the cost is very dependent upon the amount of prepwork needed, what kind of microfilm, and all other kinds of variables, and will simply vary from vendor to vendor. However, as the information is needed for a budget that is due this afternoon, we don't have a lot of time to do an in-depth research on the topic. Can anyone provide me with a best guess? We had a guess in our office of about $60 per box. Is this too high? Too low? I would greatly appreciate any thoughts.
You may respond to the list if you like, but please also reply to me personally, as I receive this list in digest form.
Thank you,
Debra Korty
