I am new to the group so need to catch up a bit. I have a few
questions.

1)Does anyone know of or have a list of courses that were developed for
Company wide Training.
1 a)I am also interested in Training Approach.
2) Does anyone know of anyplace that provides a template or blueprint
for the Methodology in Updating the Company Retention Schedule?
(includes how to ensure a comprehensive inventory , ensure new records
are identified, etc.)
3) I have designed and helped in the implementation of training for a
number of initiatives like Information-Records Management. It always
appears that in addition to the training, there are other considerations
that need to be addressed to ensure success. Has anyone been a part of
this effort and used other interventions in addition to training?
4) We are using a Record Management Awareness Survey I designed to
initially benchmark the Company culture and then as a follow up
(probably 8 to 12 months later) Has anyone completed anything similar -
if so, any lessons learned?

Thank you in advance for any knowledge/material shared.

Melissa

We were looking at a program called Orchestria. The web site is:

http://www.orchestria.com/

We were investigating the Legal Hold piece of it, but there's more parts
to the program than just that.

I hope that helps!

This is not exactly records-related, but we seem to have quite a
contingent from law firms our there, I was hoping you could assist.

Our Corporate Legal department currently uses a combination of Excel
spreadsheets, Word docs and JD Edwards to collect all the data to manage
ongoing litigation. Aren't there off-the-shelf software programs that
manage that? Not sure it matters what types of cases, but we defend
mostly employment, contract and construction defect claims, and we
operate in 7 states. There's typically about 150 - 180 cases at any
given time.

The paralegal in our rather lean legal department has suggested they do
something, but is meeting some resistance (it may be internal politics
more than anything). I can sometimes be a bit more persuasive (although
some call it a pain in the ...) so I thought I'd look into a few
programs and see if I could help her out. Any recommendations on
programs I could review?
