Gee, are you talking about my ex-husband? Just kidding...

For me in the bigger scheme of things, the IT folks can be potentially 
deposed as often as I potentially can. We absolutely have to partner. That 
means no silos. That means lots of communications. We are not adversaries - 
we can not afford that.

If my IT colleagues and I are in sync, we potentially get to bend the ears 
of two VPs - technology & legal.

I like where I report - within legal. Specifically within litigation & 
compliance. At least this reporting arrangement works for me in this 
particular company and I, like Patrick, have had my choices.

Sorry - I think I repeated part of my post from last week on this subject. 
At least I'm consistent.
