The most useful book I have in my collection is: The
Records Manager's Guide to the RIM Galaxy, 5th edition. It
includes the big, bright words "DON'T PANIC" right on the
cover!

Some of the best pieces of information in the book are:

- How to unsubscribe from the RIM listserv, without
irritating everyone.

- How to remember NOT to respond "ME TOO" to every post
from someone offering to distribute some new novel RM
whitepaper, concept, Silver bullet, etc.

- How to keep the Listserv "Gods" from kicking you out of
the listserv.

- How to block RIM listserv emails sent by a certain,
unnamed "gadfly".

- Describes (in three words) a retention schedule as "a
good idea."

Great book! Pick up a copy if you don't already have one!

Arthur Medrano, CRM :-)
