In the process of creating a new File Plan for data held outside of a
EDRM on a shared network drive. With regards to the Migration Process:
Can anyone advise me of any applications/tools that will:
1 - Migrate files from one shared network drive File Plan to a new File
Plan on another network drive.
2 - Must include the ability to create rules/policies to drive the
migration from one File Plan to another based on folder name, file name,
file extension etc etc.
In other words, does anyone know of any software that will automate the
process of moving data from one file plan to another in a network drive
environment?
Am fully aware that no solution will migrate all the files/folder 100%
and that some (and most probably a lot of) manual migration clean up
will be required but am interested to find out if the bulk of the work
can be achieved programmatically.
Any help much appreciated
