Tammy,
We used such services and promoted the use of bins as part of our quarterly
disposition week - a fixed, one-week period every three months when
employees were encouraged to sort through the piles and discard what was not
any longer needed for legal or business purposes. The bins were used
extensively during this period.

What form(s) of messaging have you found to be successful in promoting
the use of confidential secure shredding services to employees? We are
interested in hearing how other companies approach this topic.
(Secure Shredding Services consist of "locked" Shred Bins and Electronic
Consoles placed in work areas for employees to dispose of confidential
materials/electronic media. Collected materials/electronic media are
shredded onsite or via 3rd Party Provider.)
