I created web-based training at a previous employer using Micromedia
Breeze. I developed the subject matter in Powerpoint with deployment
and tracking of training (this was mandatory compliance training) done
by the software. It was easy to import the PowerPoint into Breeze and
to add audio (a requirement of the organization to enhance learning and
to facilitate the visually handicapped). I think you can still access a
late draft copy of the presentation at this location -
http://shrinkster.com/tqu. In general, the hardest part of creating
training is adhering to the time constraints. Understanding what you
want the learner to "get" and figuring out how to get there succinctly
is much more complicated than it first appears. I have many years
experience as a teacher and trainer, yet found the task of developing
for this medium challenging.

Taking a look at some professionally developed training is useful both
for understanding the true costs of developing and deploying in both
scenarios and for seeing how others have approached the task.

you can customize, for a price).
