In the event that readers here still have interest in this topic, and
now that some of the discussion has turned toward continuing
education...... there's one somewhat new area of focus .... the ARMA
International Competencies.  While the self assessment tool hasn't quite
been launched yet (it's coming fairly soon - but not this week or next),
for those of us who are committed to the RIM profession, it wouldn't
hurt us a bit to read through the Competencies document...... so we can
determine where we need to strengthen our own education and/or
experience.  

Here's a pointer to the portion of the ARMA web site where you can read
through first how to use the document, and then (at the bottom of the
web page) download your own copy.....
