Well, I won't spill the beans on the List member who first told me about
Bert's and whose son met me there for my indoctrination... I will say that
is was worth the $12 cab ride to get there though.

Ah Yes... the T-MAN....   But I think it might haver actually been the Turbo
T (?)   As I recall the hierarchy, it was:

Frito Pie
T-Man
Turbo-T

But I may be wrong... my heart was bearing so fast to try and supply oxygen
to my system after finishing it and my sweet tea, that I can't truly
recall... but I *DO* know I went 3x while on that trip!!!   Nothing gets an
evening on 6th Street started like a trip to Bert's first!!

Pity about the fire, but it probably was one of the best smelling blazes
that section of MLK had in a long time =)
