FWIW, Open Text acquired IXOS in 2004. 

Open Text and SAP have been gradually strengthening their partnership for
over a decade. SAP already resells Open Text
(http://www.intranetjournal.com/articles/200705/ij_05_11_07a.html), and in
fact SAP's acquisition of Open Text has been rumored since at least 2006 by
folks much smarter than me. :)
