Very true. I think OCR tends to be over hyped and thus user expectations
become somewhat unrealistic.

OCR is a very useful SUPPLEMENT to a well structured document
classification scheme and relevant metadata/tags/keywords "attached" to
each document. 

I wouldn't want to use OCR to try and retrieve a single specific invoice
when it is much easier and more reliable to retrieve said invoice based
on entering the invoice number in a template search field.

However, having said that, I find that OCR can be very useful when you
are not exactly positive what you are looking for and where it might
have been filed.
