Huron Consulting (Jim Coulson), Thomson (Terry Coen), Ryley Carlock & Applewhite (Lorrie Luellig or Bill McManus), and Access Sciences (Brian Foster) are all quite good. They all have a good number of corporate retention successes in the south and across the US. Their respective websites tell their stories, but each provides pretty extensive services for developing retention policies and programs, providing legal research, conducting assessments and inventories, and helping identify and implement technologies to operationalize good retention practices. (None of them store records as a commercial practice so have no commercial interest in your retention practice.) The names I've listed for each company can get you pointed in the right direction at a minimum or are the subject matter experts in most cases.

HTH,
Deidre
