There are degrees of "plugging" however.  If a new product is being
announced than a simple sentence saying so and a link to a web site
would be in order.  Or, if there is a new publication or training
opportunity being offered by a vendor, then, again, an announcement and
link would be o.k. It's how we learn what's new and available.
