I am trying to document the likely difference in costs between e-discovery in an environment with dysfunctional or no records retention schedules, and e-discovery in an environment with strong, effective records retention schedules.
Can anyone on the listserv provide actual examples of the difference in costs? By "actual examples", I mean real-world situations, with entity names and verified costs.
I am quite aware that records retention schedules are only part of an effective records management system and its consequent effect on the costs of e-discovery, but the discussion in which I am involved specifically concerns records retention schedules.
Many thanks in advance for your help, and
Best regards.
