Gerry,

Do you have any suggestion of a microfilm (aperture card) reader
replacement? I told my Manger several times the possibility of finding a
vendor in Silicon Valley, CA to outsource the work to will be nearly
impossible.  We currently have a Wicks and Wilson which is on its last
leg.   

I appreciate any suggestions you may have.

A year or so ago we finished scanning all of our microfilm (aperture
cards). 

For most of that stuff we scanned the original film. The last few
thousand cards we used the dupes. We did not notice any appreciable
difference.

All things considered though I would scan from the originals if you have
easy access to them.
