Sharon, when I first went to work as a library page at Columbia University, the librarian in charge tested my "filing/coding skills" by dumping on a table a pile of unsorted catalgue cards (mixed LC and Dewey Decimal), had me sort them out, and counted the errors.

Subject: [RM] Filing/coding skills test for support staff
Hello friends-
I've searched and googled and I'm lookin' for a freebie so I come to you with hat in hand. I'm looking for a filing/coding skills test that can be given to applicants for an office support position. If you can help, I'd be most grateful!
