Hi,
Another source of income that might fall under the Records Center's
management is recycling.  Recycling paper without personal, confidential or
sensitive information on it and unreadable shred is a start.  American
Honda's Records Management department also coordinates the recycling of
cardboard, plastic and aluminum consumer waste, for which we are paid.  In
no way are we a profit center.  The charge-back controversy has been
revisited off and on over the years and it costs more to account for the
transactions than the transactions themselves.
