1. Folder naming conventions for stored records
2. File naming conventions for attachments (by project, issuing
department, etc.)
3. Subject heading naming conventions (by project, subject, issuing
department).
4. Retention policies
5. Acquisition policies (not all electronic records are archival)
Enterprise wide implementation can be tricky with all these naming
convention rules, but they ease data migration and identification.
