Requiring a prospective employee to have a CRM or to obtain one within
one year tells me the employer wants someone who is CRM material.  That
is, if they have not already obtained it, they are already in the
process to earn the designation.  As mentioned, with the exams given
four times a year, it is very possible for an approved candidate to
achieve the designation in one year.
