All of Fred's points are true - but there are websites that offer the
use of the barcode font with no conditions or costs. It is true that the
font is only the 3 of 9. I've used the barcode font printed on reports
as the unique id for a record set. After the information was recorded by
hand on the report, the barcode reader was used to pull up the relevant
record so that the collected information could be entered into the DB.
I assume there must be limitations to the font I've mentioned since Fred
has indicated there are - but I will say that for the purposes I've used
the font for it's been perfect.
