Linda,

As a FileNet alum, I do not believe that the triggering of an email
notification is a standard capability of FileNet's Content Services.
You might be able to accomplish that with the addition of FileNet's or
someone else's workflow solution, or by developing some custom code.
However, I would be somewhat concerned about the longevity of the
Content Services product itself, since FileNet has moved to other...more
capable repositories.

Almost all of the IBM/FileNet clients should have access to an existing
Account Executive or to an existing Systems Consultant, so my best
suggestion would be to reach out to either one of those individuals.
