Well, have you had enough of the buckets? Excellent discussion and I'm sure  
you have some good questions  should you attend a session on the subject in  
Las Vegas. Some added items. I did mention NARA's involvement in this matter 
and  they have been at it for some time. In fact they use the term "flexible  
scheduling" to address the subject of scheduling.Also, in all the e-mail we did  
not get a definition but the pros and cons were valuable. NARA uses the term  
"Big Buckets"-The application of appraisal criteria to multiple similar or  
related groupings of information across one or multiple agencies (departments)  
to establish a uniform retention period. The concept of big buckets was 
offered  by NARA as part of its 2003 Records Management initiatives.
