another instance in our industry is the research and development of
proposed new business, acquisitions, mergers, etc. (Category: Business
Development). These project files are kept 3 years after active period
ceases which is closure of the project. If and when a closure agreement
on these activities is executed the records are transferred to Category:
Business Organization which is kept indefinitely and which most likely
will have historical significance to the company.
