There's a Roman painting or mosaic showing a woman in a white dress of
some sort
holding a pen and looking thoughtful -- possible costume?
I've seen a medieval painting of some sort showing a medieval German nun
writing, with a dove (Holy Spirit) over her. How about nun's habit,
stuffed white bird on shoulder, quill or pen and one of those plain bound
notebooks? (I'm not handy with a sewing machine, otherwise I would have
taken this and run with it.) I checked for this on the web this
afternoon, but
couldn't find it.
