I cross checked Bruce's conversion figure of 8.69 cubic feet divided by 1.2
for number of equivalent standard bankers boxes at 7.24 x 34 pounds for a
weight of 246 pounds per cart. This is higher than I find typically find in
my operation. I just went out and weighed several full 65 gallon carts and
they came in between 164-204 pounds which converts back to 22-28 lbs per box
Seems odd but as Todd pointed out the packing density of carts is not as
dense as records that are boxed! Hope this helps!
