Hello. My name is Stephen Krehley and I am a Records Management
Associate at the Ford Foundation in New York City. I was an active
member of the RECMGMT listserv about a decade ago, and it is good to be
back and posting to RECMGMT-L.

We are currently using CA Records Manager to manage our paper records,
and we are planning a pilot project to manage our electronic records,
probably using CA Records Manager to manage SharePoint (MOSS 2007)
records in place in our existing SharePoint repository.

I'd like to hear about the experiences of others in who have implemented
electronic records management in their companies or organizations using
specialized software for that purpose. I would be particularly
interested in hearing from those who use CA Records Manager (formerly
known as FileSurf by MDY) to do so. However, I would appreciate it if
anyone is willing to share their experiences with using any software
package to apply records retention rules to electronic records.

If I receive any private replies, I will summarize them for the list.

I may be cross-posting this message to other lists, and I apologize for
any duplication.

Thank you.

Steve Krehley
