Hi all,
I have received a lot of requests for my slides from ARMA this year - in
significant part because of my tardiness in turning them in. Regardless,
because the files are big, and because some of you cannot get email from
Gmail or other commercial accounts, and for some other reasons, I have
started to post my slides to Slideshare. If you're not familiar with it,
it's a service that allows you to upload presentations and share them. Users
can choose whether to allow their slides to be downloaded, shared on
websites, or only accessible through security. It's not for confidential or
sensitive presentations - in other words, don't put your financials out
there. :) But for e.g. AIIM, ARMA, or SAA-type presentations it's a great
way to make them available. Presentations can be searched on by title,
topic, or tag/keyword, and you can subscribe to users or presentations and
be automatically notified when new or updated decks are uploaded.

No, I have no stake in Slideshare. I just think it's a useful tool for those
of you looking for information on a particular topic or those of you who do
presentations. To see how it works, go to http://www.slideshare.net and
create an account, or access my account at
http://www.slideshare.net/jessewilkins8511. There are other services out
there as well, but Slideshare is a pretty simple one to use and it's
certainly the biggest at this point.

Cheers,

Jesse Wilkins
