With a new Archivist of the United States being sought and the 75th
anniversary of SAA coming up, it is more important than ever to gather the
history of our profession and preserve it.   One way to do this is to add
something to the "History of Archives, Recordkeeping, and Records Wiki" at
http://tinyurl.com/sqgtl.  

 

Just go and add something you know about our profession's history - like
maybe the date your repository was founded or the date of publication of
your favorite book related to our profession.    Instructions provided on
the site.
