A few times now after I have posted questions, I have had vendors call me in response to my questions, i.e., "I saw your posting on recmgmt-l" or "a colleague referred your question to me." I couldn't find my list policies email, but I'm fairly certain this is a no no.

In any case, from me to any vendors subscribed to the list, please do not contact me in response to the questions I post on this list. If my organization needs the type of services you offer, I will do my research and, hopefully, your organization will be one of those I contact.

Besides that, I work for a state organization that has instituted a state wide hiring freeze and a ban on all out of state travel. Believe me, we have NO money.
