Subject: Resources for Retention Schedule

"Here is my question: I work for a publishing company that has more
than

500 employees. We have offices across the United States as well as

international and we are privately owned. I am doing research right now

into Federal and state statutes and regulations for records retention."

Sam - We, too, are an international company with offices throughout the
US. I have some information from our program that could be helpful to
you. I'll send it off the list this morning. I'm in a position similar
to yours - responsible for a document retention policy in my department
without much background in document management, and I've done a lot of
research. If anything I've collected would be useful to you, I'll send
it along. We should talk.
