Joe...One word - 3 times: NO NO NO!!!!!

One reason is that destruction logs are often coded by box number and/or
barcode number. In almost all cases, destruction logs have a permanent
retention value. Duplication in barcode numbers can cause severe
problems when verifying that a box has indeed been destroyed.

Subject: Offsite storage box barcodes

Hello... does anyone have an opinion on reusing offsite storage box
barcodes? I'm trying to find out if it makes sense to keep the box
barcodes so as not to have the expense of permanent removal charges
incurred.
