The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Southwest
Region cordially invites you to register for the 2009 Southwest Region
Electronic Records Forum (4/14) and the Records Administration
Conference (RACO-Texas 4/15).   Please forward this to your regional
field office records coordinators/liasons/officers.  Both events will be
held back-to-back starting on Tuesday,  April 14th for two days, at the
Omni Hotel in Downtown Austin; Address: 700 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin,
TX.  If you have an interest in exhibiting your products or services

Your registration includes not only timely records management training
but a continental breakfast and plated lunch for both days. 
Additionally, we are having an evening social/networking session with
h'orderves.  Vendors have been signing up for this event and some of

The conference is expected to attract 200 Federal, State, Local, and
Tribal records managers, archivists and information specialists as well
as a number of attendees from the private sector and academia.   The
combined conference will feature a number of sessions with speakers from
NARA, Federal Records Officers, Academia and Vendors.  We have also
added a Keynote Speaker this year - David Weinberger - Author of

RACO Texas is an annual one-day conference on Federal records
management issues and is hosted by the National Archives and Records
Administration (NARA). Each year NARA picks one of its Regional Offices
to host this annual event. The Southwest Region in Fort Worth has been
chosen for 2009.
