I haven't submitted since my current employer started delivering the
courses, but I submitted several for my previous employer and to my
knowledge nothing was done with them. It could have gotten lost in the mail
or perhaps I missed the response.
The 2-day classes are 13 contact hours and the Master Classes 26 contact
hours of meaty, vendor-neutral, standards-based content. As the lead
developer for the ERM update I can tell you I relied heavily on ISO 15489,
ISO 23081, ISO 26122, MoReq2, the ICA's recent work, and a number of other
content-specific standards, guidelines, and best practices from NARA, The
National Archives (UK), Australia, the ICA, and many US-based state and
local government practices.

The courses are developed by independent third parties (Cornwell Management
Consultants for the original ERM and ECM; CMSWatch for the BPM and IOA;
Access Sciences for the Email and the just-released update to the ERM; and
Information Architected for the just-released update to the ECM) and are
vetted by the AIIM Education Advisory Groups which consist of a number of
vendors, consultants, analysts, government agencies, and end-users in North
America and in Canada, so I'd think there would be no real reason why they
couldn't/shouldn't be certifiable.

I will submit formal requests to the ICRM for the ERM, ECM, Email, and the
ERM Master Completion Courses I am teaching this year sometime this month.
Whatever the response I will let everyone on the list know.

Regards,

Jesse Wilkins
