Good morning from beautiful Perth, Western Australia.

I too have battled pigeon doo, rats and once met a snake (thankfully
sleeping of his dinner - rat?) in the name of Recordkeeping, but the
memory I cherish most comes also comes from a 'dirty job'. Visualize
finding a very, very tiny egg in an old dirty, broken box fall of old,
dirty, smelly documents, carefully lifting it out and then, I guess due
to the warmth of the palm of my hand, having it hatch into a tiny, tiny
gecko (like a lizard). I still smile at the feeling of joy I remember
feeling when I became a Mum to the gecko; who says recordkeeping isn't
fun:)
