This article summarizes a poll recently conducted by NPR, the Kaiser
Foundation, and the Harvard School of Public Health, which touches on,
among other things, electronic health records:

The public's response on the issues surrounding electronic health
records seem pretty spot on: Concerns about privacy; expectation of a
reduction in errors, and an improvement in the quality of care; and low
expectations that electronic health records will actually save
significant money. I'm pretty impressed, actually - it indicates a good
grasp of the issues and a fair amount of realism among the general
public.
