Aw, that's great, Chris! I love Carl Stalling, and didn't realize he
wrote for Disney. For those who don't know, Carl Stalling was the
principle composer for Warner Brothers cartoons, being the author of
almost all of their music, including the Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies
theme.

He also wrote for the short lived Ub Iwerks studio of the early 1930's.
Going full circle, Mr. Iwerks was one of Disney's main animators. He
opened his own studio for a while, then returned to Disney to be their
principle special effects guru. A good example of his work is seen in
Mary Poppins.

I love Ub Iwerks cartoons because of the great Carl Stalling tunes - one
of the few times Mr. Stalling actually wrote songs with lyrics. Perhaps
the most famous - and surreal! - of Iwerk's cartoons is "Balloon Land"
from 1935. Enjoy!
