All,
In reviewing some material on developing good classification schemes for
electronic/digital archives, several different resources have crossed my
desk. One, which focuses specifically on taxonomy for utilities, is the
18 CFR 125.3. While this has good suitability for private utilities,
there are some parts such as "reports to stockholders" which do not
directly apply to public utilities. In implementing some of your
digital archives programs (i.e. using systems such as Hummingbird,
FileNet, etc) what sources/legislation are you using to develop your
taxonomy and classification schemes? Any insights would be greatly
appreciated.
Regards,
