The example I used was my Daytimer: discoverable, yes. Record, no. Steve
responded that calendars are records at the organizations he is familiar
with, and to some extent irrespective of role or level of the organization.
So of course it depends - I asked for more detail about whether/how he's
doing it with regards to the calendars and evens in
Exchange/Domino/Groupwise. I know many public sector organizations that
retain Daytimers of executives; I want to know about the approach as applied
not theoretically but concretely to their electronic equivalents, across the
organization.
