One of the best things to do is get in contact with your ICRM liaison through your local ARMA chapter. It will save a lot of time and money looking for books than can be almost impossible to find. If your local chapter is no help look to those around your area (the larger chapters tend to be very helpful within your state at least from my experience) - many have wiki study groups where they tackle parts and pieces as a group making the research and dealing with bibliography much easier. Group studying is great when everyone pitches in and discussion is had.

Good luck,
  Amy

Why not try the study guide available from the ICRM website?
