You may want to make use of and reference the ARMA Competencies in this
area.  It is very likely more comprehensive than you may need, but will
certainly include a view of the skills and knowledge necessary to manage
electronic records.  You can find those competencies at:
http://www.arma.org/competencies .  The download of the specific
competency document is free to ARMA members and to non-members alike.
It is well organized and divided up into a variety of different domains.


You may also wish to use this document, and the self-assessment tool to
map out your own education program and your own career development
program.  The self-assessment tool is available to members at NO
additional cost, and to non-members at a modest fee ($ 59/for 6-months
of access if my memory serves me correctly).
