Many CRMs are looking to gain certification maintenance credits to maintain their CRM certification.
I have worked through the ICRM Activity Credit Pre-approval process to inform the institution about AIIM's classroom ERM courses. I have been told that the content of these courses satisfy the requirements for certification maintenance credits.
As these courses are given regularly throughout the year and at various locations, you would not use the Pre-Approved Activities process to get your credits recorded, each individual CRM would submit requests for these credits in the normal fashion, after they have attended one of these classes. The ICRM has been provided the agendas and the detailed course descriptions of these courses.
The agenda for the ERM Practitioner course covers a full two-days providing 13 hours of learning. The same is true for the ERM Specialist course. The agenda for the ERM Master course, which is made up of both the Practitioner and Specialist courses, covers a full four-days providing 26 hours of learning.
If you are trying to gain your certification maintenance credits and have attended one of these courses, I strongly recommend that you apply for the credits you deserve.
If you are looking for ways to achieve these credits in the future, I strongly recommend that you look at attending these courses.
I will remind you that the ICRM allows only a six month period in which to apply for credits after having taken the course.
